THE PROGRAMME "I PARTICIPATE"

The programme aims to strengthen the capacities of children's rights organisations
to participate in the decision-making processes of Kosovo. These processes will
further enhance the role that the civil society groups can play in establishing
linkages between citizens and governmental structures, while assisting in the
democratisation processes of the country. In order to achieve this, the following
actions will take place:

Capacity building for children's rights organisations and youth groups, in order to
strengthen their ability to formulate policies and influence the reforms for the
implementation of Convention on the Rights of the Child in Kosovo;

Information and Awareness for the Government of Kosovo, children's rights
organisations, youth groups and general public on the situation of children's
rights, in order to press for improvement of public policies for children in the
country;

Lobby and Advocacy with/for children in Kosovo, through the organisation of an Open
Public Meeting with the Parliament of Kosovo, on children's rights situation and the
need to improve policies and reform on their behalf
